Evangeline 2/12/24

I wrote Evangeline back in the late 80s. The song takes a bit of a journey, but ends up where it started if you have the patience to follow it’s course to the final chord.

This version is recorded with a 1965 Rickenbacker 450 12 string, a very spiffy little electric in Fireglo red with Rickenbacker’s old toaster pickups giving it the characteristic Rickenbacker chime. I played it through an old 100 watt Music Man tube head, a homemade 2 x 12 cabinet and an MRX analog delay box. A very simple set up as they go.
