Walked into living room to make a pot of coffee first thing this morning, looked out east window, and was greeted by the doe and her 4 mostly grown up fawns who have been in yard all spring and summer and now into the fall. They were munching on my hostas, but it’s late enough in the season I can turn a blind eye.
The song is pieced together from the first bit, written several decades ago, to the rest of it, written in 2021. It’s the first thing I came up with on the guitar after a 20 year break from playing and figuring new stuff out.
