Old Wine in a New Wine Skin

Old Wine in a New Wine Skin

Last Saturday morning I got out early to drive to Elderly Instruments in Lansing to get a neck reset on my G tuning 12 string. I have been fighting with it since I got it, lovely tone but knuckle buster action. I took a little video on the way there before the clouds moved in, it fits the tune ok.
Old Wine in a New Wine Skin was assembled when I was 18 or so, it was at the point where I had given up on trying to play Leo Kottke songs with my left handed approach and started to write my own pieces to fit my backasswards wiring. Still sounds like Kottke, but fits my fingers better.
The song was recorded on an old Taylor 555 12 string in 1986, right after I bought the guitar from the String Shoppe in Buffalo. The proprietor steered me to the Taylor from a big maple Guild 12 string I was fixated on. Good advice.
