Indian River

I wrote Indian River back while I was living in Indian River, ME. Go figure.

I was renting an old farmhouse that was on the banks of the River, and recall writing this song in an upstairs bedroom looking out on the front yard that sloped down to the water. The light streamed into the room from the east each morning, usually through some shreds of fog from the Gulf of ME.

The video content has nothing in particular to do with Indian River, but is more on the aquatic side than not. Back in October, I made some little videos while at Moody Gardens in Galveston, TX, that seemed to dovetail with this song nicely.

The song was recorded on a Taylor 555 12 string with a bit of stereo chorus effect.
