Herald of the Morning
Last year about this time, I posted a recording of this done on an old Taylor 655c:
I took another run at it on an almost as aged Larrivee this past Sunday 7/23.
It’s a first take, which is ideal. If I can’t hit my marks without 34 Mulligans, I haven’t done my work practicing. That said, there are a couple clams in it, but c’est la vie. The energy is good, hopefully that comes through the embalming process of making a video.
For little videos like this, its my goal to post stuff that is mostly what I would present in front of an audience, without the artifice of multiple cameras and video editing.
Note to reader: I do take the liberty with archival recordings to superimpose irrelevant video content with rudimentary edits, frankly I think video of dogs and cats to be more engaging than watching some paunchy old guy grimace for the camera while clutching a guitar . There are a lot of those type of videos on this site for sure…
Enjoy.
