Coffee, Tea and Small Talk

Coffee, Tea and Small Talk

Coffee, Tea & Small Talk is another forgotten song from the archive.

I got lost on the way to the mailbox Wednesday morning and made some little video snippets of my garden to combine with this music.

Back in the trees where we are, we don’t get a lot of flowers to bloom. For a week or so in July though, we have hundreds of hostas flowering, so this is my favorite time of the year in the garden.

A few years back I cleaned out the trashberries in a big patch down by the road, on the east side of the seasonal stream that flows through the front yard on the way to nearby Mill Creek.

I then used my rototiller to create a big bed for a shade garden. I thinned out ferns, jack in the pulpit, solomon’s shield, black eyed susans and other shade tolerant plants and collected hundreds of hosta seedlings from established beds elsewhere in the yard, and planted out this bed.

And here we are.
