Blue Skies & Cherry Pies

The sun is finally shining after a cold and drizzly week here in Dexter, I don’t have any tart cherries in the freezer to make a cherry pie with, but we do have blue skies. 1/2 a loaf is better than none. In my opinion the vibe is sufficiently Blue Skies & Cherry Pies to share this song with you.

Lucy was out with me when I was in the front yard this morning, she is 14 and her MO is to quietly and very slowly creep off randomly sniffing the sniffs in the yard. I turned my back on her for 30 seconds to stake up a white Iris that the rain had clobbered last night and Lucy vanished into thin air.

I was frantically running around the front yard and calling her name, which of course is useless because being a small crusty terrier, she pretty much does her own thing.

I ran back and forth across and around the yard in a lather a bit longer, and was about to check and see if she had crept off to the garage to sample the food bits remaining in the empty cat food cans in the recycling bin. This was where she ended up the last time she de materialized.

Happily, she toddled out from behind a large hosta about 20 feet from where she started.

Phew…

Blue Skies & Cherry Pies

Blues Skies & Cherry Pies – Lucy rumbles off into the hosta jungle

Blue Skies & Cherry Pies has a kind of Farfisa organ sounding flange or chorus thing going which actually still sounds pretty good.

I hope you enjoy it!
