Short As Any Dream – 10/20/25

I wanted to get a real guitar stand, a nice stool with a footrest, a little table for my recording gear such as it is, and a stand I could put an Iphone gimbal on.
So I went to the feria (farmers market) outside of town and talked to two of the local woodworking artisans to see if they would be interested in building stuff. Adrian made the lovely guitar stand and his colleague Arturo made the little set of matching guitar muebles.
I recorded Short As Any Dream after a couple weeks of practicing away. This is a decent version. In the course of trying to get my hands around this old song (circa 1987) I added a new section which starts about 3 minutes in. I had an issue with a little downward run in the new section but got it right the 2nd time through, so in a forgiving mood, I don’t think it merits trying to beat a perfect take into the ground. Pura Vida.
This is Quincy, my daughter-in-laws creamsickle cat. She is in Oxford, MS!
