Every Day Is Christmas Around Here

I was getting crabby trying to get another piece knocked into shape, this one 2 bar phrase was impossible to get right. So I decided to give it a break and try to record another study. I am chipping away at a backlog of 200 odd songs so there is always something that I can get through without incident if I try.
So today I got up at 5:00 to record this, the early rays of the dawn were just warming the the eastern face of the mountains on the far side of San Eulalia. By the time I fed Bosco, took him out, took a shower, made coffee, sat and looked at email and set up my recording stuff, it was about 5:30. The sun was well up at that point.

The featured study is called Every Day Is Christmas Around Here. It is another early composition from my mid 20s in the AEAEAC# tuning. This try is ok, I don’t have any nails on my right hand to speak of and the strings are kind of dead, so it has a little less shimmer than could be desired, but you will get the idea if you can struggle through listening to it to the end.
